Greenpeace Roadshow Summer School: Action Through Media – Archive Video

Greenpeace Media Officer Joe Smyth kicks off the Roadshow’s Summer School webinar series with an interactive training on how environmentally-conscious citizens can take Action Through Media.

He walks participants through the process of writing an effective Op Ed and Letter to the Editor, how to get the word out about issues that are of local and global concern, and give advice on how to ensure your letters and petitions are published in print and online mediums.

This webinar was broadcast live from Greenpeace headquarters in Washington, DC.

The Greenpeace Summer School Series is part of The Greenpeace Roadshow, an ongoing series of casual conversations, interactive discussions, and events taking place online and in the neighborhood.  Online webinars will be held on the second Tuesday of every month this summer – with Summer School learning sessions scheduled for June 11th, July 9th, August 13th.
